Fight against cancer



There are 25 lakhs cancer patients in the country. 10 lakhs new cases are detected annually and 4 lakhs people lose their lives to cancer. Cancer is now third biggest killer in our country. Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers in India. Lung cancer alone is responsible for 13 lakh deaths worldwide annually. Cancer of lungs mainly caused by smoking , air pollution and radioactive chemical exposure. The common symptoms of lung cancer are smoker’s cough becomes intense , increase in volume of sputum, change in colour  of sputum and also blood in sputum. The disease is only prevent by say no to smoking. Prevention is the most-cost effective means of fighting lung cancer. Eliminating tobacco smoking is a primary goal in the prevention of lung cancer.
